What it is about?
CONTENT AND METHODOLOGY
The core of the course is vocal adjustment — what actually changes, technically, between singing belting and singing legit, and how to move safely between the two. Mirna works by comparing both types of vocal emission directly with each student, showing what the vocal instrument does differently in each and how to produce both without forcing. Within the songs themselves, she also addresses whatever difficulties arise — passaggio, high notes, sustaining a phrase, vibrato — all worked through the repertoire the students themselves bring.
The acting side is led by award-winning actress Analu (Ana Luiza Ulsig), member of Ludico Theatre, who handles interpretation and acting through song. Body and stage presence support the voice, since the course is primarily vocal in focus.
REPERTOIRE
Each student proposes two songs from the musical theatre repertoire — open, with no restriction on era or style — and Mirna selects one of them for the course, during the online sessions. Songs should preferably remain in English, since the course is taught in that language. Work with playback tracks begins already in the online sessions, so each student arrives at the in-person weekend with the number ready to perform live; Mirna also accompanies on piano when needed.
THE FORMAT
The format was designed in two stages:
Online sessions (individual masterclasses) — each student sings and receives real-time coaching while the others observe. This is also where the group's technical differences are leveled out before the in-person weekend, and where repertoire is set.

IN-PERSON meetings (hybrid format) — individually coached excerpts, plus one ensemble number rehearsed and performed by the whole group.

• Sunday, Nov 8 — 10:00-13:00 (class) + 14:00-15:00 (final showcase, open to the public)
